Elon Musk unveiled a new range of futuristic Tesla devices last week, but not everyone is impressed. Australian-Egyptian filmmaker Alex Proyas has accused the billionaire of borrowing ideas from his 2004 sci-fi film I, Robot.

On X (formerly Twitter), Proyas shared side-by-side photos of I, Robot‘s tech alongside Tesla’s latest products—Optimus, Robovan, and Robotaxi—highlighting their striking similarities. He captioned the post, “Hey Elon, can I have my designs back please?”

Both the Robovan and Robotaxi were introduced during a Tesla event called “We Robot,” which some view as an overt nod to the film.
